This week Halfback has been talking to a Super-netball club and a big bash club about 30min pre-season shows streamed straight into Facebook. Not the cheap stuff - we're talking about four cameras vision-switched, with host desk. It's a $20k ballpark, but the reach that Facebook can bring, the integration opportunities for partners and teams, and potential ad rev-share deals with Facebook make this an attractive option. 

Wherever rights deals stop, teams need to monetise - and reach a global audience.
